BlackStar REO Asset Management works directly with lenders and loan servicers to help manage, value, and dispose of distressed assets. We have streamlined our asset management platform for the next generation of asset management service. Our platform has two major divisions: BlackStar Property Services and BlackStar Realty.
BlackStar Property Services
Our Property Services team focuses on securing, maintaining and managing the property. We provide peace of mind for the lender and loan servicer in that we are licensed, bonded and insured. Our team is trained in quality control, quality assurance and customer service. Additionally, we offer a set price for services and work with national accounts on pricing so lenders are better able to control costs. Since we are licensed contractors, we are also able to value property repairs to determine 'if a little money will go a long way' for the investment.
Secure the Property
- Visual Inspection of property within 24 – 48 hours of assignment
- Verification of all city and county ordinances
- If property is vacant, secure and have BlackStar Realty agent provide BPO
- Negotiate "Cash For Keys"
- Start eviction process immediately
- Occupancy monitored weekly
Property Maintenance and Preservation
- Property Secured and Re-Keyed
- Property cleaned inside, trash removed, exterior yard cleaned and maintained
- Provide up to three bids for repairs per trade

- Transfer Utilities
- Collect rent payments as needed
- Ongoing maintenance of property
